This Privacy Policy explains how LE 589X LLC (“we,” “us,” or “MacroThis”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the MacroThis mobile app and website (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

We collect the following information to provide the Service:

• Account information. Your email address when you create an account or join our early-access list. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile information from Google.
• Meal and nutrition data. The voice recordings you submit are transcribed to text and analyzed to estimate nutrition. We store the resulting meal entries (food names, portions, and macro estimates) associated with your account.
• Profile and goals. Information you provide during onboarding, such as your goal, approximate weight, height, age, and activity level, used to calculate your personalized targets.
• Device identifiers. A randomly generated identifier used to associate data with your device before you create an account.
• Usage and diagnostic data. Basic technical information needed to operate and improve the Service.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide the core features of the Service — transcribing what you say, estimating nutrition, and showing your daily progress.
• To calculate personalized calorie and macro targets from the information you provide.
• To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
• To communicate with you about the Service, including early-access and launch updates if you joined our list.
• To maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Service.

Third-Party Services

We use trusted third parties to operate the Service. Voice recordings and meal text are processed by AI providers (including OpenAI) for transcription and nutrition analysis, and nutrition values may be looked up against the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) food database. Email is delivered through our email provider. These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We do not sell your personal information.

Data Retention

We keep your account and meal data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual meals at any time within the app. When you delete your account, we delete your meals, sessions, and account record from our systems.

Your Choices

• You can edit or delete meal entries at any time in the app.
• You can delete your account from the app's profile settings, which removes your data.
• You can unsubscribe from email updates using the link in any email we send.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the Service.
